As the song says “All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go”. But not sure if the rest of that song rings true in this case.
I leave Saturday around dinner time to Atlanta, then on a silver bird to Madrid Spain. Direct flight.
I have enclosed photos of what I will have with me for the Camino portion of this adventure. Basically a backpack weighing 12 lbs loaded. The orange blob is my sleeping bag. Borrowed from a dear female friend who did the full Camino 10 years ago. Thank you Linda
I don’t think I will be mistaken for a “Camigas”. Lol

Congratulations! That should be an amazing hike! A 12 pound pack? Hmmmm….
ReplyDeleteHey Gary! the nice thing about the camino is every night you stay where they feed you, you can wash your clothes, and sleep on a cot. All that allows for a lighter pack than AT or PCT hikers
DeleteLooks good, Gary! You won't look like a "Camiga" and I think it is in the spirit of pilgrimage to use equipment that was used by a previous pilgrim!
ReplyDeleteNice backpack 🤩
