June 3rd Bordeaux

Well today we said goodbye to San Sebastian and hello to Bairitz France. it started easy enough, but when the bus dropped us off at the Bairritz airport, the agent said our Sixt rental was at the train station, we took a taxi to there and found no Sixt rental counter. Back to the airport and this time having the airport agent tell the taxi driver where the Sixt rental was at the train station we got our car. Diesel instead of electric but OK.

We drive from there to Bordeaux via the back roads which suits

The station at the beginning of the Camino. A long way from where I started.

A sandwich before lunch places closed.

French small town

Where and what we ate with Jessica, Marco and their Uncle.  The Marrow in the bone was delicious.

A good, no a great night and Medoc tomorrow,
